Experimental Typography
A junior year class experimenting with typography in various methods and materials.

Type Recreation
The goal was to find interesting or funky text and do your best to recreate it. I am rather proud of how this turned out, right most image is my attempt, the left is the reference.
Fold Stretch Method
By folding paper, writing a word, then creating connecting lines through the gap, you can achieve some funky results. Here are mine.
Making Type
Through carious methods like collage, combining physical objects, and playing with corporeal characters, we made type with specific constraints. Here are the results.
Video Game Poster
In a project experimenting with how type would look in a video game. I took inspiration from a game that is near and dear to my heart, and drew from my experience growing up in a small town like in the game.
Texas Town Type
We had to pick a city in Texas, create a font for a physical print design, and then use a RISO printer to create the final thing. Pictured is the type alphabets I made, the digital mockup, and the physical poster.
Motion Type
With various restrictions we had to create a motion project with type at the center of focus.
